We Are Seeking Bona Fide Professionals
Progent is hiring consultants that can show verifiable certification in their special focus. So, if you are a Microsoft expert, you should have your Microsoft MCSE credential. For Cisco experts, have your CCIE or Cisco Certified Network Professional credential. For security, you should have earned you CISSP, CISA, Certified Information Security Manager, or other top security certifications. Of course, we are aware of “paper MCSEs.” Notwithstanding, simply because a credential does not guarantee excellence is no reason for not having one. If you have mastered your stuff, then most of these certifications should pose no challenge. The bottom line is that if you call yourself an expert, then clients deserve to see credentials. Progent can market your skills, but you must have basic credentials for Progent to market. In case you happen to be strongly opposed to the concept of credentials, we can sympathize with and respect your position, but you are probably not a good candidate.
