Ubiquiti's UniFi Series of Wi-Fi Access Points
Ubiquiti's UniFi series of wireless access points includes distinct product groups designed for various usage scenarios, topologies and budgets. Ubiquiti has both indoor and outdoor wireless access points, and the series includes desktop, wall-mount and ceiling-mountable devices. The Ubiquiti UniFi UAP-AC-PRO wireless access point is engineered to withstand indirect weather and can be installed indoors or in a sheltered outdoor site. The UniFi UAP-AC-PRO includes two Gigabit Ethernet connections and features 3x3 MIMO in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, delivering data rates as high as 450 Mbps for the 2.4 GHz radio and 1,300 Mbps for the 5 GHz radio. The UAP-AC-PRO can handle up to 200 client devices. A low-profile in-wall model, UniFi's UAP-AC-IW-PRO, plugs directly into an Ethernet wall connection and does not have an extra Ethernet port. The UniFi UAP-AC-EDU wireless access point is designed for schools and delivers performance identical to the UAP-AC-PRO but is larger, has only one GbE Ethernet interface, is limited to indoor use, and incorporates a loudspeaker to accommodate a wireless PA system.
The UniFi low-profile and high-density UAP-nanoHD indoor AP features 4x4 MU-MIMO, offers 300 Mbps data rates at 2.4 GHz and 1,733 Mbps performance for the 5 GHz radio, handles up to 200 concurrent users, and has a single GbE Ethernet port. The UAP-nanoHD is available in a range of skins to blend with various surroundings. The Ubiquiti UniFi UAP-HD access point is designed for high-density indoor or outdoor environments. This large-footprint Wi-Fi access point features 4x4 MU-MIMO, delivers 800 Mbps throughput for the 2.4 GHz radio and 1,733 Mbps data rates at 5 GHz, and supports up to 500 users. The UAP-HD includes two ports for 10/100/1000 Ethernet.
The UAP-AC-M and UAP-AC-M-PRO Wi-Fi APs are mesh access points designed for large outdoor venues, like a park, with little if any IT infrastructure, or for quick deployment/tear down scenarios such as a music festival or street fair. Both these mesh access points can support more than 250 concurrent users. The UAP-AC-M has 2x2 MIMO and offers a variety of mounting and antenna alternatives for indoor or outdoor use. Ubiquiti's XG AP Wireless Access Point
The UniFi XG AP is a quad-radio Wave 2 Wi-Fi access point designed for very high-concentration venues such as a convention center. The XG AP has a 4x4 MIMO 2.4 GHz client radio that supports 800 Mbps throughput plus two 4x4 MIMO 5 GHz radios capable of 1.733 Gbps throughput. The wireless AP can support 1 simultaneous clients. The UniFi U6 L-R AP offers 4x4 MIMO at both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and delivers a combined throughput rate of 3 Gbps. Ubiquiti's UniFi U6 Long-Range supports over 350 simultaneous clients, provides PoE+, and includes a GbE RJ45 network interface. The UniFi U6 Pro WiFi access point delivers high throughput for large office environments. The UniFi U6 Pro offers 4x4 MIMO at 2.4 and 5 GHz and offers an aggregate data rate of 5.3 Gbps. The UniFi U6 Pro supports more than 350 concurrent clients, offers PoE+, and provides a GbE RJ45 network interface.
Ubiquiti's tri-band UniFi U6 Enterprise AP is a WiFi 6E unit that has a dedicated radio to support the 6 GHz band, opening up an added 1.2 GHz of continuous, clean spectrum to support high-density environments such as an IoT site. The UniFi U6 Enterprise features 2x2 MIMO for 2.5 GHz and 4x4 MIMO at both the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. Over-the-air speed for the combined 2.4/5/6 GHz bands is 10.2 Gbps.
