Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
  • Work onsite and online to identify and resolve both urgent and lingering problems associated with reliability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall productivity
  • Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology topologies including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
  • Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, MS Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and implement updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Design and validate security policies such as onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and AV plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Efficient network design and 24x7 server monitoring and alerting

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years' background in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device setup, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug application issues such as workstation software compatibility problems, server issues, data service issues, and access problems
  • Background in business application assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering reliable follow-through and using remote access and mobile connectivity technology
  • Works without supervision and demonstrates strong sense of responsibility and drive
  • Possess a working knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and excellent debugging capabilities in L1-L4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
