Main Responsibilities

Activities
  • Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
  • Operate onsite and online to identify and fix both urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, protection, performance, accessibility, and overall productivity
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers
  • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology topologies including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
  • Design and implement updates to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Design and validate protection policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and AV as well as offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust network design and 24x7 server monitoring

Qualifications/
Education

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years' background in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device provisioning, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to troubleshoot software application issues such as desktop PC program compatibility issues, server issues, data service problems, and access issues
  • Experience in business productivity software support (Microsoft product family)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-through and using remote access and wireless connectivity technology
  • Works without supervision and demonstrates high level of responsibility and drive
  • Possess a reasonable understanding of networking layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging capabilities in L1-L4
