Main Responsibilities		Activities Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments Operate onsite and online to identify and fix both urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, protection, performance, accessibility, and overall productivity Install, configure and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS Design information technology topologies including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access Design and implement updates to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Design and validate protection policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and AV as well as offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery Robust network design and 24x7 server monitoring
Qualifications/ Education		Minimum Work Experience Requirements 10+ years' background in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device provisioning, problem identification and repair) 5+ years consulting background Ability to troubleshoot software application issues such as desktop PC program compatibility issues, server issues, data service problems, and access issues Experience in business productivity software support (Microsoft product family) Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-through and using remote access and wireless connectivity technology Works without supervision and demonstrates high level of responsibility and drive Possess a reasonable understanding of networking layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging capabilities in L1-L4 Credentials Needed Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
