Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
  • Work on premises and online to identify and fix urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, security, capacity, accessibility, and general functionality
  • Deploy, setup and debug apps hosted on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Maintain and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
  • Design and implement updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Develop and test security policies such as on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust system design and proactive health monitoring

Qualifications/
Education

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years' background in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug application problems including workstation program compatibility problems, server issues, data service issues, and access issues
  • Experience in business software support (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-up and taking advantage remote access and mobile connectivity technology
  • Operates without supervision and demonstrates high level of ownership and initiative
  • Possess a working understanding of network layers L1-L7 and excellent debugging capabilities in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Needed
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
