Main Responsibilities

Activities
  • Maintain and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
  • Operate onsite and remotely to identify and resolve both urgent and lingering problems associated with reliability, security, capacity, connectivity, and general productivity
  • Deploy, configure and troubleshoot applications hosted on Windows Servers
  • Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
  • Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
  • Design and implement upgrades to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Develop and test security policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Efficient network design and proactive server monitoring and alerting

Qualifications/
Education

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem isolation and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug software application issues including workstation program compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and connectivity problems
  • Experience in business productivity software support (Microsoft products)
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-up and taking advantage online access and wireless communication tools
  • Works without supervision and demonstrates high level of ownership and initiative
  • Possess a working understanding of network layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Needed
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
