Activities
  • Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
  • Operate on premises and online to identify and resolve both urgent and ongoing problems associated with reliability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and general functionality
  • Install, configure and debug applications hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
  • Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
  • Plan and implement updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Develop and validate security policies such as on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and AV as well as remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Efficient system architecture and proactive health monitoring

Schooling

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years' background in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device provisioning, problem identification and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot software application issues such as desktop PC program compatibility problems, server problems, data service issues, and access issues
  • Background in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-through and taking advantage remote access and wireless communication technology
  • Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of responsibility and drive
  • Has a working understanding of network layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
Credentials Needed
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
