Primary Activities

Responsibilities
  • Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
  • Operate onsite and remotely to analyze and resolve urgent and lingering issues associated with availability, security, capacity, connectivity, and overall functionality
  • Install, setup and troubleshoot applications on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Design information technology topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet access
  • Design and carry out updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Develop and test protection policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backup/restore and anti-virus as well as remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust network design and proactive health monitoring

Experience/
Education

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in desktop, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem identification and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot application problems including desktop PC software compatibility problems, server issues, data service issues, and connectivity issues
  • Experience in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-through and using online access and wireless communication technology
  • Operates independently and shows strong sense of ownership and initiative
  • Possess a working understanding of network layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
