Primary Responsibilities
Activities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
• Work on premises and remotely to identify and resolve urgent and lingering problems associated with availability, security, capacity, accessibility, and general productivity
• Install, setup and debug applications hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
• Install and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Design IT topologies including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
• Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
• Plan and implement updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server
• Develop and test protection policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backup/restore and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
• Robust system design and 24x7 server monitoring and alerting

• 10+ years experience in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem isolation and resolution)
• 5+ years consulting background
• Ability to debug application problems including desktop PC software compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and access problems
• Experience in business application support (Microsoft products)
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and taking advantage remote access and wireless communication technology
• Works without supervision and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and drive
• Possess a reasonable knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4
