Essential Activities
Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
• Work on premises and online to identify and fix urgent and ongoing problems associated with reliability, protection, performance, connectivity, and overall productivity
• Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps on Microsoft Windows Servers
• Deploy and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Plan IT architectures including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
• Support and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet connectivity
• Design and carry out upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Server
• Develop and test security policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and AV as well as offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
• Efficient network design and proactive server monitoring

• 10+ years background in PC, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem identification and repair)
• 5+ years consulting experience
• Ability to debug software application issues such as workstation program compatibility problems, server issues, data service issues, and connectivity issues
• Experience in business software assistance (Microsoft product family)
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and taking advantage remote access and wireless connectivity tools
• Operates without supervision and shows strong sense of ownership and drive
• Possess a reasonable understanding of network layers L1-L7 and strong debugging skills in L1-L4
