Essential Responsibilities
Activities

• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
• Work on premises and remotely to analyze and fix urgent and lingering issues associated with availability, security, performance, connectivity, and general productivity
• Deploy, setup and troubleshoot applications hosted on Windows Servers
• Install and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Design information technology architectures including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
• Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, MS Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet access
• Design and implement updates to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Server
• Develop and validate protection policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backup/restore and AV as well as remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
• Efficient network design and 24x7 server monitoring and alerting

• 10+ years experience in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device setup, problem isolation and repair)
• 5+ years consulting experience
• Ability to debug application problems including desktop PC software compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and connectivity issues
• Experience in business productivity software support (Microsoft products)
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, providing reliable follow-through and using online access and wireless communication tools
• Operates without supervision and shows strong sense of ownership and initiative
• Possess a working knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
