Essential Activities
Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
  • Work onsite and remotely to analyze and resolve urgent and ongoing issues related to availability, security, capacity, accessibility, and general functionality
  • Install, setup and debug applications hosted on Windows Servers
  • Deploy and integrate Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT topologies including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Maintain and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and implement updates to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Develop and test security policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backup/restore and AV plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
  • Robust network design and proactive server monitoring and alerting
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years experience in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to troubleshoot software application issues such as desktop PC software compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and connectivity problems
  • Background in business application assistance (Microsoft product family)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-up and taking advantage remote access and mobile communication tools
  • Works independently and shows strong sense of responsibility and initiative
  • Possess a reasonable knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
Credentials Required
Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
