Main Activities
Activities

• Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
• Work onsite and remotely to identify and fix urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, security, performance, accessibility, and overall functionality
• Install, setup and debug applications hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
• Install and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Design information technology architectures including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
• Support and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet access
• Plan and carry out updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
• Develop and test protection policies such as onsite high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
• Efficient network design and 24x7 server monitoring and alerting

• 10+ years experience in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine setup, problem isolation and resolution)
• 5+ years consulting background
• Ability to troubleshoot application problems including desktop PC software compatibility problems, server issues, data service issues, and access problems
• Background in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft product family)
• Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-up and taking advantage remote access and mobile communication tools
• Operates independently and demonstrates high level of ownership and initiative
• Possess a reasonable knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and excellent debugging capabilities in L1-L4
