Essential Responsibilities
Activities

• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
• Operate on premises and remotely to analyze and resolve both urgent and lingering issues associated with availability, protection, performance, accessibility, and general functionality
• Install, setup and debug apps hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
• Install and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Design information technology topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
• Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet access
• Design and implement updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange Server
• Develop and validate security policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
• Robust network architecture and proactive health monitoring

• 10+ years background in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem identification and resolution)
• 5+ years consulting background
• Ability to debug application issues such as workstation software compatibility problems, server problems, data service issues, and connectivity issues
• Experience in business application assistance (Microsoft product family)
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering reliable follow-up and taking advantage remote access and mobile connectivity tools
• Works independently and shows high level of ownership and drive
• Possess a working understanding of networking layers L1-L7 and excellent debugging capabilities in L1-L4
