Activities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
• Operate onsite and online to analyze and fix urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, security, performance, accessibility, and general productivity
• Deploy, setup and troubleshoot applications on Windows Servers
• Install and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Plan information technology architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
• Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
• Plan and carry out updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
• Develop and test protection policies such as onsite high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
• Robust network architecture and proactive server monitoring

• 10+ years background in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem identification and resolution)
• 5+ years consulting background
• Ability to debug application issues including desktop PC program compatibility problems, server issues, data service issues, and connectivity problems
• Background in business application assistance (Microsoft product family)
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-up and using online access and wireless communication tools
• Works without supervision and shows strong sense of responsibility and initiative
• Has a reasonable knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging capabilities in L1-L4
