Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
• Work onsite and remotely to analyze and resolve both urgent and lingering problems associated with availability, security, capacity, connectivity, and overall functionality
• Deploy, configure and debug applications on Windows Servers
• Deploy and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Plan information technology topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
• Maintain and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, MS Office suite, phone communications, and Internet access
• Plan and carry out updates to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
• Design and validate protection policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus as well as offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
• Efficient network architecture and proactive server monitoring

• 10+ years background in desktop, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device provisioning, problem isolation and repair)
• 5+ years consulting experience
• Ability to troubleshoot application problems including workstation program compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and connectivity problems
• Experience in business software support (Microsoft products)
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-through and taking advantage online access and wireless connectivity tools
• Works without supervision and demonstrates high level of responsibility and initiative
• Possess a working knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in L1-L4
