Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
• Work onsite and online to analyze and fix urgent and ongoing issues associated with reliability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall productivity
• Deploy, configure and debug apps hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
• Deploy and integrate Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Plan IT architectures including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
• Support and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, telephony, and Internet connectivity
• Plan and carry out upgrades to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
• Develop and validate security policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backup/restore and AV plus remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
• Efficient system architecture and proactive health monitoring and alerting

• 10+ years experience in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem identification and repair)
• 5+ years consulting background
• Ability to troubleshoot application problems such as workstation program compatibility issues, server issues, data service problems, and access issues
• Experience in business productivity application support (Microsoft products)
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-up and utilizing online access and mobile connectivity tools
• Operates independently and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and initiative
• Possess a working understanding of network layers L1-L7 and excellent debugging skills in layers 1 through 4
