Essential Responsibilities
Activities

• Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
• Operate on premises and online to analyze and fix urgent and ongoing issues associated with reliability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall functionality
• Install, configure and debug apps hosted on Windows Servers
• Deploy and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Design IT architectures including virtualized infrastructures and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
• Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
• Design and implement updates to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange
• Develop and validate protection policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
• Robust system design and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting

• 10+ years experience in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, device provisioning, problem isolation and repair)
• 5+ years consulting experience
• Ability to debug software application issues including workstation software compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and access problems
• Experience in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft products)
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and utilizing online access and mobile communication technology
• Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of responsibility and initiative
• Possess a working knowledge of network layers 1 through 7 and excellent debugging capabilities in layers 1 through 4
