Essential Responsibilities
Activities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
• Operate onsite and remotely to identify and fix both urgent and lingering issues related to reliability, protection, capacity, connectivity, and overall productivity
• Install, setup and troubleshoot applications on Microsoft Windows Servers
• Install and integrate Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Plan IT topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
• Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
• Plan and carry out updates to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server
• Develop and test protection policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus as well as offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
• Robust system design and proactive health monitoring

• 10+ years background in desktop, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine provisioning, problem identification and repair)
• 5+ years consulting background
• Ability to troubleshoot application problems including desktop PC program compatibility problems, server problems, data service problems, and connectivity issues
• Background in business software assistance (Microsoft products)
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-up and using remote access and wireless connectivity technology
• Operates without supervision and demonstrates high level of ownership and initiative
• Possess a working understanding of network layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging capabilities in layers 1 through 4
