Main Activities

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
  • Work on premises and remotely to analyze and resolve both urgent and lingering issues associated with availability, security, performance, connectivity, and general functionality
  • Install, configure and debug apps hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
  • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
  • Plan IT topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
  • Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet connectivity
  • Plan and carry out upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Exchange Server
  • Design and test protection policies including onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
  • Robust system architecture and 24x7 health monitoring

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years' background in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine setup, problem isolation and repair)
  • 5+ years consulting background
  • Ability to debug software application problems such as workstation program compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and access issues
  • Experience in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft products)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-up and using remote access and wireless connectivity technology
  • Works independently and shows strong sense of responsibility and drive
  • Has a working knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting skills in layers 1 through 4
