    Main Activities

    Responsibilities
    • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
    • Work on premises and remotely to identify and fix urgent and ongoing issues associated with reliability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and general functionality
    • Install, configure and debug apps hosted on Windows Servers
    • Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
    • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
    • Plan IT architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
    • Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet access
    • Design and implement upgrades to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
    • Design and test protection policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus as well as offsite or cloud-based disaster recovery
    • Efficient system architecture and proactive health monitoring

    Schooling

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements
    • 10+ years' experience in PC, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem identification and resolution)
    • 5+ years consulting background
    • Ability to troubleshoot application issues including desktop PC software compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and access issues
    • Background in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft product family)
    • Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-through and taking advantage remote access and mobile connectivity tools
    • Works without supervision and shows strong sense of responsibility and initiative
    • Has a reasonable knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and strong debugging skills in L1-L4
