    Essential Activities

    Responsibilities
    • Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
    • Operate onsite and online to analyze and resolve both urgent and lingering issues associated with availability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall productivity
    • Install, setup and debug apps hosted on Windows Servers
    • Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
    • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
    • Design information technology topologies including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
    • Maintain and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
    • Design and implement updates to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Server
    • Design and validate protection policies such as on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and anti-virus plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
    • Efficient network design and 24x7 health monitoring

    Qualifications/
    Education

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements
    • 10+ years' experience in desktop, server administration and IT Infrastructure support (new software installation, device setup, problem isolation and resolution)
    • 5+ years consulting experience
    • Ability to troubleshoot application problems including desktop PC program compatibility issues, server problems, data service problems, and access problems
    • Background in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft products)
    • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, providing reliable follow-through and utilizing online access and wireless connectivity tools
    • Operates without supervision and shows strong sense of responsibility and drive
    • Has a reasonable understanding of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4

    Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
