Primary Activities
Activities
Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
Work onsite and online to analyze and resolve urgent and lingering issues related to availability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and general productivity
Deploy, setup and debug apps on Microsoft Windows Servers
Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktops and notebooks
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Plan IT architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud models
Support and administer MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
Plan and implement upgrades to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
Develop and validate protection policies including onsite high availability, resilience, backup/restore and AV plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
Efficient network architecture and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting

Schooling
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' background in PC, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem isolation and resolution)
5+ years consulting experience
Ability to debug application problems including desktop PC software compatibility issues, server problems, data service problems, and access issues
Experience in business productivity software support (Microsoft product family)
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-up and taking advantage remote access and mobile communication technology
Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and initiative
Has a reasonable understanding of network layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4
