    Essential Responsibilities

    Responsibilities
    • Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
    • Work on premises and online to analyze and resolve both urgent and lingering problems related to reliability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and general productivity
    • Install, configure and debug apps on Microsoft Windows Servers
    • Install, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
    • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
    • Plan information technology architectures including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
    • Maintain and manage Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, MS Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
    • Plan and implement upgrades to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
    • Design and validate protection policies such as onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
    • Efficient network design and proactive health monitoring

    Education

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements
    • 10+ years' background in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine setup, problem identification and repair)
    • 5+ years consulting experience
    • Ability to troubleshoot software application issues including workstation software compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and access problems
    • Experience in business productivity software assistance (Microsoft product family)
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-up and using remote access and mobile connectivity tools
    • Operates independently and demonstrates high level of ownership and initiative
    • Possess a reasonable knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting skills in L1-L4
    Credentials Required
    Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
