    Primary Activities

    Responsibilities
    • Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
    • Work onsite and remotely to identify and resolve both urgent and ongoing problems associated with reliability, security, capacity, accessibility, and general productivity
    • Install, configure and debug applications on Microsoft Windows Servers
    • Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
    • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
    • Design information technology architectures including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
    • Support and administer MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
    • Design and implement upgrades to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Server
    • Design and validate security policies such as onsite high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and anti-virus plus remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
    • Efficient network architecture and proactive server monitoring

    Experience/
    Education

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements
    • 10+ years' background in desktop, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine setup, problem identification and repair)
    • 5+ years consulting background
    • Ability to troubleshoot application problems such as desktop PC program compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and connectivity problems
    • Experience in business productivity application support (Microsoft product family)
    • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-up and taking advantage remote access and wireless connectivity tools
    • Works without supervision and shows strong sense of responsibility and initiative
    • Possess a reasonable knowledge of network layers L1-L7 and excellent troubleshooting capabilities in L1-L4
    Credentials Needed
    Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
