    Main Responsibilities

    Responsibilities
    • Maintain and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered networks
    • Operate on premises and online to identify and fix urgent and lingering issues related to reliability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall productivity
    • Install, setup and troubleshoot applications hosted on Windows Servers
    • Deploy, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
    • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
    • Design IT architectures including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
    • Support and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office and Office 365, telephony, and Internet access
    • Plan and carry out updates to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange Server
    • Design and validate protection policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backup/restore and anti-virus as well as offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
    • Efficient system architecture and proactive server monitoring and alerting

    Qualifications/
    Education

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements
    • 10+ years' background in PC, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine provisioning, problem isolation and repair)
    • 5+ years consulting experience
    • Ability to debug application issues such as workstation program compatibility issues, server problems, data service issues, and access problems
    • Background in business productivity software support (Microsoft product family)
    • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering consistent follow-through and using remote access and mobile communication tools
    • Operates independently and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and drive
    • Possess a reasonable knowledge of networking layers L1-L7 and excellent debugging skills in layers 1 through 4
    Credentials Needed
    Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
