    Main Responsibilities

    Activities
    • Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based IT environments
    • Operate onsite and online to analyze and resolve both urgent and lingering problems associated with reliability, security, performance, accessibility, and overall productivity
    • Deploy, setup and debug apps hosted on Windows Servers
    • Deploy, setup Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
    • Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
    • Design information technology topologies including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
    • Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet access
    • Design and implement upgrades to MS desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
    • Design and test security policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus as well as remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
    • Efficient network design and proactive health monitoring and alerting

    Experience/
    Schooling

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements
    • 10+ years' background in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine setup, problem identification and resolution)
    • 5+ years consulting background
    • Ability to debug software application problems including desktop PC program compatibility issues, server problems, data service problems, and access issues
    • Background in business application support (Microsoft products)
    • Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and using remote access and mobile connectivity technology
    • Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of responsibility and initiative
    • Has a working understanding of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4
    Credentials Needed
    Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
