Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Support and repair Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
Operate onsite and remotely to identify and fix urgent and ongoing problems related to availability, protection, performance, connectivity, and general functionality
Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps hosted on Microsoft Windows Servers
Install, configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
Design IT topologies including virtualized environments and on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid cloud designs
Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Exchange Server, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and Internet connectivity
Design and carry out upgrades to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
Develop and validate security policies such as on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and anti-virus as well as remote or cloud-based disaster recovery
Robust system architecture and proactive server monitoring

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
10+ years' background in PC, server management and network Infrastructure support (new software deployment, machine setup, problem isolation and repair)
5+ years consulting experience
Ability to debug application issues including workstation software compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and connectivity issues
Background in business productivity application support (Microsoft product family)
Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-up and using remote access and mobile connectivity technology
Works without supervision and demonstrates high level of responsibility and initiative
Possess a working knowledge of network layers 1 through 7 and strong troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4
Credentials Required Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP:EA)
